Notes

1. We are using a full box of pasta in this recipe.

2. Using penne pasta in this recipe, which has a stove cook time of 10 minutes. To adjust for Instant Pot cook time - Divide the cooking time by half and minus one for al dente pasta. Hence we are pressure cooking for 4 minutes.

3. Always have enough water or broth to cover most of the pasta underwater. Depending on the shape of pasta you may need more or less liquids.

I would cook the soya chunks first, squeeze out all the water and then add in the end and bring the soup to a full boil

Delicious recipe! So simple and it turned out great. Next time I think I’ll add more liquid just so when we reheat leftovers it’s got more sauce.20-Min Creamy Tomato Pasta (13)

I am so glad you enjoyed the taste. It is important to layer the ingredients, especially layering the tomato sauce in the end and not stirring it in.

Turned out great although I got pasta sauce everywhere as it came out with the steam during the quick release. Not sure if I did something wrong to cause this. Maybe slow release would prevent it?20-Min Creamy Tomato Pasta (15)

Depending on how full the Instant Pot is, the sauce may splatter out. Controlled quick release would be a good option.
