7, 2019 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman. Roberta was born Feb. 5, 1934 in Garrett, the second of nine children of the late James and Jane (Moore) Bartley. Besides her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Lynn Gall; two brothers, Eddie and Raymond Bartley; and two infant children. Roberta was a member of the Hillsboro First Baptist Church and the Women's Group Lunch Bunch.

Roberta worked for 15 years at Robert Shaw Controls in Hillsboro and enjoyed crocheting in her free time. On Sept. 15, 1951, Roberta was united in marriage for 67 years to Clyde Hoover, who survives; one son, David (Gladys) Hoover of Riverview, two grandchildren, Garrison Anthony (Savana) Gall and Leilani Hoover; two brothers, Orville Bartley of Charlotte, Mich. and Jimmy (Candy) Bartley of Georgetown, Texas; three sisters, Alberta Mullins of Austin, Texas, Janice (Fred) Silva of Lansing, Mich. Barbara (Duane) Fogg of Battle Creek, and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

MILLIE LOUISE PENWELL Millie Louise Penwell, 88, of Dayton, passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2019. She was born April 8, 1931 in Fayette County to the late Virgil and Mary (McKinley) Jones. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Charles M. Penwell (2016); her brothers, Leonard Jones, Kenneth (Betty) Jones and Harold (Vada) Jones; and brothers-in-law, Lloyd (Betty) Penwell and Harold (Kathleen) Penwell.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Bruce) Maier and Larry (Bonnie Green) Penwell; grandchildren, Justine (Jason) Beecher, Christian Green and Rachel Green; great-grandson, Sebastian Beecher; sister-in-law, Helen Jones; and several nieces and nephews. 8, 2019 at her home. She was born Jan. 28, 1962 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Bonnie L. (Atkinson) She had worked at American Showa in Blanchester for 21 years. Dianne was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Steve Walker, whom she married Jan. 31, 1993 in Hillsboro. She is also survived by four children, Shannon (James) Thery of Fayetteville, Mandy (Chad) Pierson of Lynchburg, Tyler DeHass of Batavia and Hannah (Cole Ludwig) Walker of Southgate, she was a loving mamaw to three grandchildren, Camden Polston, Leila Pierson and Kennedy Thery; two brothers, Gary (Janet) Smith of Indianapolis and Larry "Rick" (Brenda) Smith of Hillsboro; her parentsin-law, Larry and Joyce Walker of Hillsboro; two nieces, Miranda Wells and Stephanie Brown; special friends, Angie Terrell of Hillsboro and Durinda Williams of Fayetteville; as well as many other special friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Smith; and a sister, Nancy Vance. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.
